At Zimba we offer our customers hand-made arts, crafts, home decor and jewelry from different parts of the world.

Over the years during our travels it was always exciting to find handcrafted goods which were great for decorating any room in the home.

Zimba, which means creating, as in creating things is also an opportunity for creating and building relationships as it offers the opportunity to learn about and  appreciate things made by people all over the world. We offer handcrafted products made by different people in different parts of the world.

We only carry products we ourselves like using, looking at, playing with, or wearing and thus are convinced our customers will, too.

The overwhelming majority of our products are fair-trade products, meaning that they are either acquired from wholesalers who distribute products from artisans and artisan groups around the world, ensuring that these individuals and groups can make a living from their work, or that we have bought the product from artisans directly.

We continue to be impressed by the creativity and ingenuity of craftspeople around the world who offer their work as a counterbalance to the mechanized, computerized production methods that dominate today's marketplace. Through buying these craftspeople's products, you contribute to keeping alive not only the craftspeople themselves but also their traditions and creativity, and you gain the value of hand-crafted artistic expressions.
